Teleskop Service TS 102ED f/7

102 mm ED refractor used at f/5.6

Teleskop Service TS 102ED refractor with heater bands on the main and guide scopes, and the temperature probe attached to its side

The Teleskop Service TS 102ED is the main imaging telescope: a 102 mm ED refractor with a native focal length of 714 mm and an f/7 focal ratio. In my setup it is paired with a 0.8× reducer-flattener, bringing the system to approximately 571 mm and f/5.6 for a wider field of view. The photograph also identifies the smaller dew-control components: a heater band on the main telescope, another on the guide scope and a temperature probe attached to the side. Although these belong to the control electronics, showing them on the optical tubes makes their purpose easier to understand.
