IC405 – Flaming Star Nebula
IC405, known as the Flaming Star Nebula, is a nebula in the constellation Auriga. This image uses a narrowband SHO composition to represent emission from ionised hydrogen, oxygen and sulphur. The session was captured at an average temperature of 4 °C and 75% relative humidity, with a 5.3-day-old Moon at 28% illumination.
