M27, Nebulosa de la Dumbbell (NGC6853)
Nebulosa de gas ionitzat que s’expandeix al voltant d’una estrella moribunda. Té una forma bipolar, amb una densitat més alta als extrems i un gas més difús al voltant. Composta principalment per hidrogen (que brilla en vermell) i oxigen doblement ionitzat (que emet en verd/blau).
